Notre Dame Cathedral Latin 58, East 41 — Stats were not submitted. NDCL will take on Copley in the district semifinal.

Northeast 5

Howland 76, Bay 39 — Howland dominated Bay Village Bay from start to finish 76-39 on Saturday in the sectional of the Division III, Northeast 5 district bracket. Rylie Villwock led the Tigers with 16 points, while Maya Kubancsek added 13 and Teagan Bell and Talia Rishel each had 11. Manoloff led Bay with 11 points in the loss. Howland now advances to face Kent Roosevelt in the district semifinal on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Kent Roosevelt 29, Boardman 23 — Despite a late rally, Boardman concluded its season with a 29-23 defeat to Kent Roosevelt on Saturday in the sectional of the Division III, Northeast 5 district bracket. Sarah Bero had 11 points to lead the Spartans, while Ava Freeborough had 5 points. No Roosevelt statistics were provided. Boardman ends the season with a 10-13 record.

Northeast 1

Kalyssa Werner scored 14 points to lead the Bulldogs, while Annabelle Humphrey added 8 points and Sophie Irwin and Sienna Terry each had 6. Layla Frezzell scored 9 points to lead Woodridge. Lakeview now advances to face Canfield in the district semifinal on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Cloverleaf 52, Ursuline 51 — Stats were not submitted. Cloverleaf will face Crestwood on Tuesday in the district semifinal.

Northeast 3

Salem 56, Struthers 37 — Salem began its postseason journey with a 56-37 victory over Struthers on Saturday in the sectional of the Division IV, Northeast 3 district bracket. Reese Davidson-Chuck led the Quakers with an 18-point, 10 rebound double-double. She also had 8 steals. Abby Knickerbocker added 14 points for Salem. No Struthers statistics were provided. Niles 59, Akron Springfield 49 — Niles fended off a 33-point performance by Akron Springfield’s Kendall Wilderman with a 59-49 victory in the sectional of the DIvision IV, Northeast 6 district on Saturday. Kherington Stanford spearheaded the Red Dragons’ scoring efforts with 22 points, while three others finished in double figures, including Ava Ferri (11), Maddie Yost (10) and Hannah Grimm (10). Niles now advances to face Warrensville Heights in the district semifinal on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Northeast 2

South Range 39, Triway 38 — Stats were not submitted. The Raiders will host Northeast 8 foe Girard on Tuesday for a district semifinal.

The Eagles started fast, scoring 40 points in the first quarter. Gianna Pompelia led JFK with 21 points, while Laney Condoleon had 11 and Hannah Myers finished with 18. Connor Cochran led the Blue Devils with 23 points, while Dom Ricciardi had 12 and Josh Klasic had 10. Drew Bycroft paced the Bulldogs with 14 points, while Owen Jurjavcic added 12 points.

Warren JFK 55, St. Thomas Aquinas 42 — After trailing by three at halftime, Warren JFK rode a big fourth quarter to a 55-42 victory over conference foe St. Thomas Aquinas. Nick Ryan scored 29 points to lead the Eagles, while Mason Welch paced the Knights with 13 and Ky’Shaun Johnson had 10.
