BASEBALL

Windham 8, Bristol 2 — Jack Eye struck out 11 in a complete game for Windham as the bombers bested the Panthers. Eye also allowed five hits and two walks in the win while helping his cause at the dish, belting a home run, a triple and three RBIs. Adding to the Windham offense was Ridenbaugh with a double and single, Alex Eye with two singles and three RBIs and Miceal Bolyard doubled and singled. Diesel Williams was given the loss, throwing five innings while striking out six and allowing two walks and 11 hits. Croc Thorp was the bright spot for Bristol’s offense with two singles.

Warren G. Harding 15, East 0 — No statistics for either team were submitted.

Newton Falls 10, Liberty 1 — Zayne Shelton dominated on the bump for Newton Falls as the Tigers cruised to the win over the Leopards. Shelton threw a complete game, striking out 10 while giving up five hits and two free passes. At the plate, Leland Vargo slapped a pair of hits for Newton Falls. Clayton Bratton was given the loss, throwing three innings while picking up two strikeouts and allowing five hits and walks. The Liberty offense was led by Trenton Long singled and doubled while Helaman Garcia singled twice.

Struthers 10, Lakeview 6 — The Wildcats found themselves in a hole but eight runs in the fifth inning was more than enough to fend off the Bulldogs. Isaac Wolfe picked up the win for Struthers, fanning three while allowing three hits and two walks through 3 1/3 innings of work. Drew Chizmar doubled while Anthony Pastella drove in two runs for Struthers at the dish. For Lakeview, Nathan Paolucci was given the loss, striking out six while allowing three hits and walking four in 4 1/3 innings. At the plate for Lakeview, Isaiah Lantz and Eli Gough each lent two hits, Paolucci doubled and singled and Brandon Cash drove in two runs.

SOFTBALL

Campbell 13, Springfield 5 — The Red Devils plated six runs in the third inning and kept the runs coming to top the Tigers. In the loss, Makenna Wymer paced Springfield with a triple, single and two RBIs. Campbell statistics were not submitted.

Bristol 13, Chaney 1 — The Panthers corralled the Cowboys in a big way. Mycie Workman was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate while Cadence Imhoff also had a 4-for-4 day with three doubles and five RBIs. Reagan Macklin picked up the win in the circle with six strikeouts. Chaney statistics were not submitted.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

McDowell (Pa.) 3, Howland 1 — The Tigers showed life in the second set, but the Trojans were too much to overcome, claiming the match in four sets (25-12, 24-26, 25-15, 25-17). In the loss, Wesley Fee recorded five kills, four blocks, an ace and six digs, Alex Slater added five kills, Dylan Nguyen tallied four assists and seven points and Freddie Rivera added six digs.

BOYS LACROSSE

Boardman 11, GlenOak 10 — The Spartans and Golden Eagles battled back and forth, but Boardman came away on top by a single goal. Kevin Montgomery paced the Boardman offense with five goals and an assist, Ashton Hoover tallied a hat trick and two assists, Emerson Hare added two goals and an assist and Tony Pinciaro had a goal and an assist. In goal, Hunter Richards recorded 14 saves.
