6TH WARD TOWN HALL: The Youngstown 6th Ward town hall meeting will take place 5 p.m. today at the Newport Library on Market Street. Discussion will include construction updates on former Bottom Dollar and former McDonald’s buildings, Market Street Park, Glenwood Avenue and Market Street facade projects, review of American Rescue Plan spending and 2025 street paving.

STEAM NIGHT: Girard City Schools will host a Family STEAM Night 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the high school for activities involving science, technology and engineering and math.

AUDUBON SOCIETY HOSTS PROGRAM: The Audubon Society of the Mahoning Valley will host a program at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Austintown Senior Center, 112 Westchester Drive. The theme is “Brazilian Wildlife Adventure.” Brazil has the third-most bird species of all the countries in the world.

ALTRUSA LUNCHEON: Altrusa of Youngstown is hosting its Spring Fling luncheon April 10 at Avion on the Water, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. The program will be “Youngstown and The R.M.S. Titanic” presented by Traci Manning of The Mahoning Valley Historical Society. There will be a buffet lunch, cash bar, bag raffle and door prizes. Cost is $40.
